Goodbye.

December 20, 2009

ChronicDev has received our exploit free of charge.

Anonymous has received our version of the jb, which may never see the light of day again.

First to e-mail me will also receive a copy. It’s been fun, but people are getting too violent. They seemingly have nothing better to do with their time, I suppose.

hi

December 20, 2009

I said I would give it to any dev teams that requested it and none of them did. GTFO.

gave a standalone copy for $5, the first & only offer we received. He/she then added an additional $50 to keep us from distributing it for at least 1 month. It’s more then likely you’ll be seeing another “dev team” sprout up and offer the program, so this is no longer my duty. As for Prodigy, he was in a car accident. If he’s still interested when he comes out, the jailbreak will already be released and he’ll put up the FTP for you guys with an app to access/install things from it.

Hopefully you’ll be seeing a new team within the next month. If not, see you in a month.

Best of luck,

s4ph, lunaa, g3k0, and prodigy. If you wanna chat, email us at team.s4ph@gmail.com.

“secret” features

December 14, 2009

The secret features:

1. The jailbreak program also works as an alternative to DiskAid. (can open root using the program, move files etc.)

2. Members have access to a private FTP with every app out there.

3. Comes with Cydia (obviously) but also a brand new alternative. Came with the S4ph FTP as the main source. (this is what Prodigy was working on)

anyway, farewell. I’ve grown tired of this. If Chronic or Geohot or The Dev Team e-mail me, i’ll pass on the exploit to them.

If anyone’s interested in a standalone working untethered jailbreak (unstable for iphones but is working, flawless for itouch) might sell to the right person.

To our beloved followers,

December 10, 2009

We still receive a good 500 hits/day, thanks guys. Because the blog isn’t completely a ghost town, I’ll let you in on something which I’ll probably get into shit for, but whatever.

So 99% of the things you guys saw were fake proof. Movie = Flash movie put onto iPod. Screenshot = photoshopped. Beta testers = fake. Readme = total baloney. But all of this had a purpose, unfortunately that purpose was lost. Obviously this was not a science project or however you may like to put it, but it was the best I could come up with on such short notice.

The reason that all of this happened was due to the following:

1) Prodigy333 is currently in the hospital, has been for the past month.

2) g3k0 got selfish. He’s no longer a part of the team, but not an enemy either. We’ll still be working close with him.

3) Ran into a major speedbump and the jailbreak is fairly dangerous to iPhone users if discovered.

I’m sorry it had to come to this. I alone am currently working on the jailbreak, but my skills are limited. Lunaa and I are currently awaiting Prodigy’s recovery. Until then, I’m afraid a fully functioning (and safe) jailbreak is impossible. I know that it would be the most logical choice to pass on our discoveries to other teams, but quite frankly this is something we started and is something we’d like to finish. Sorry.

If anyone has any questions I’ll do my best to address them. My time is extremely limited these days though, so I apologize in advance for any delay.

FYI

December 7, 2009

WE HAVE NO AFFILIATION WITH CHRONICDEV WHATSOEVER.

S4ph was a trick. Although we have other plans, we will NOT be releasing it under s4ph. I also repeat, we are not ChronicDev.

Good luck!

December 5, 2009

Good luck to Geohot, Chronic Dev, and anyone else attempting to jailbreak!

Enjoy your life, everybody. I apologize for any inconvenience I’ve caused.

Real explanation:

This was a study. Isn’t it amazing how 1 post on ChronicDev’s site lead to 7,987 views yesterday? I find it quite fascinating.

Again I apologize. I meant no harm, it was nice to meet everyone. If you want to talk to me, you can still e-mail. I won’t say no hate mail, but I won’t reply to it :)

Farewell.

December 4, 2009

We have made many friends and many enemies in the past while. This decision is very sudden and wasn’t expected, but here we are.

I would like to give you some background information on how we came to be:

We started out making StarCraft hacks. Then we moved onto other things like iPod, modifying our personal items, or anything that has caught our eye.

We have gone by many different aliases during our career; nor do we plan on revealing who else we are. I will tell you this though: You have heard of us, you’ve thanked us, and then like always, went on with life.

We chose to do it this way because we prefer to see how the public acts toward the anonymous team coming out of no where. It’s quite entertaining, we plan to do it more. However, doing so includes a price: We must always keep everyone happy in the end. That’s what we have come to do, and that’s what we’re about to do.

It wont be long until someone cracks the code.

This will be our last and final post. We will respond to a few e-mails, but it’s going to be very minimal.

I know we’ve upset many people because they think we’re fake. Well, the team is fake… but the program’s not.
Good luck my friends. I’ll be here for the next 30 mins to address anything. After that, it’s goodbye forever.

And finally, a beautiful poem written by lunaa. (Or whatever you may like to call her at this point :) )

So here we are.

4 days until the world is afar.

Possibly you’ll receive the pass

However don’t act too fast.

We can see you

I can feel you

Nobody wants to be nice

So today we will roll the dice

But prepared to get lice.

However you must count on your… thecial.

Every minute that goes by, you may not succeed

Going to the war, I see it’s your breed.

Animals fighting and insects are crawling

Mediocre attempts to crack us

Every day you spend on this site, you lose of your life.

!!

December 4, 2009

We’re giving 1 password to the first person to comment on this page the EXACT way we forged the screen shot. :)

Good luck

EDIT: Please go step by step. Key points:

1) the window we edited. 2) how we bypassed Mitchell’s methods and took a direct screenshot of the desktop, complete with shadow around the application to seem as if it’s really there. 3) Program used 4) how we made the cmd & output window

and no, the window was not control panel.

Just to clarify:

December 4, 2009

We didn’t change the file on megaupload… that thing was a fake. We never made the rickroll one, if that was really our release it would have been on the main page (obviously). We never made the one that ih8sn0w publicized either, and the claims that we changed the file from having the password wep3 (or whatever he claimed it to be) is clearly ridiculous. Why?

1. Failbreaks is made by angry 13 year old Agent (He’s really 13, he applied for beta)

2. No one could guess the password wep3 in the amount of time they claimed to have hacked it. Even if in the slightest possibility that DID occur, they would have cracked the current password by now.

3. I had more reasons but  don’t remember :P

We’re in the process of distributing 5+ more passes. More then 800 emails to go through!

Why haven’t I received a password!?!?!

December 3, 2009

Well, here’s why. We’re not dumb and we have tricks up our sleeves. You might make a really nice post, but believe me, we know your true identity!

We’re still looking for people who genuinely deserve this.

I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. I know that it must be a pain to see it there right in front of you, but not have the password to use it. So on the bright side, this will be made public in the future… but for now it stays like this. Think of it as an exclusive private beta for nice people only.

Sorry yes, we have received TONS of emails requesting a password. We’re going through them to see who deserves it the most. We’ve only sent out 7 passwords so far. To my surprise, it hasn’t spread yet. Anyway, one of those 7 requested we make a twitter… so here you go.

If possible, in your e-mail please put your name you used to post here. (if applicable)

oh hi

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9JMEKWG5

e: now you’re probably wondering why there’s a password. Well, remember a while back when we said we thought about canceling the project and keeping it to ourselves? Well we kinda did that, but in a way to keep our conscience clear. You see, instead of giving the password to annoying people who spam the boards & cause trouble (i’m looking at you, julienulie@gmail.com) we’ll only be emailing the password to those who we find worthy.

If you think you deserve the password you can e-mail us. We’re currently in the process/have already given out passwords to a select few. :) We also decided if you’re able to crack it, you also deserve it. Seems fair.
