To our beloved followers,

December 10, 2009

We still receive a good 500 hits/day, thanks guys. Because the blog isn’t completely a ghost town, I’ll let you in on something which I’ll probably get into shit for, but whatever.

So 99% of the things you guys saw were fake proof. Movie = Flash movie put onto iPod. Screenshot = photoshopped. Beta testers = fake. Readme = total baloney. But all of this had a purpose, unfortunately that purpose was lost. Obviously this was not a science project or however you may like to put it, but it was the best I could come up with on such short notice.

The reason that all of this happened was due to the following:

1) Prodigy333 is currently in the hospital, has been for the past month.

2) g3k0 got selfish. He’s no longer a part of the team, but not an enemy either. We’ll still be working close with him.

3) Ran into a major speedbump and the jailbreak is fairly dangerous to iPhone users if discovered.

I’m sorry it had to come to this. I alone am currently working on the jailbreak, but my skills are limited. Lunaa and I are currently awaiting Prodigy’s recovery. Until then, I’m afraid a fully functioning (and safe) jailbreak is impossible. I know that it would be the most logical choice to pass on our discoveries to other teams, but quite frankly this is something we started and is something we’d like to finish. Sorry.

If anyone has any questions I’ll do my best to address them. My time is extremely limited these days though, so I apologize in advance for any delay.

  1. What makes your jailbreak unsafe at the moment? What problems are you experiencing?

    • In short, it creates a hole that hackers could abuse. Obviously if infected the process could be reversed (via recovery) but it also means the user will have to redo the installation and lose all current data.

      • I just wish that creating these sorts of hacks just needed NOPing out the right section. I presume the hole is something that exists now within each device rather than something your code creates? Still, as long as you aren’t trying to play us a second time, good luck with it.

  2. I am fairly certain no one has faith in you after your last fiasco. Give a copy of your exploit, dangerous or not, to Geohot or Dev Team and ask them to try it and make a post about it if it is real. Until then, you belong on the failbreak website.

    • Cool beans, don’t care.

  3. That post could of been fake too

  4. I don’t know why I’m viewing this blog right now but while typing in the URL bar “s” this site came up again and I decided to come back for some more laughing. What about the program that was “leaked” in a comment? And your first file download? Care to shed some light on the subject? I had know doubt anything wasn’t fake. If Prodigy really is in the hospital please send him/her my hope that she recovers from what ever happened. g3k0 was very smart in doing that. Once again if u really did have an exploit u would have given it to Muscle Nerd or Geohot.

    • That program leaked in the comment had nothing to do with us, just a practical joker. The file download was just to keep everyone busy while we worked on the real thing. I know it’s harsh, but we set an unrealistic timeframe and wanted to keep our word without looking like dicks (fail).
The reason we haven’t given the exploit to MuscleNerd or Geohot is because this is more for us then it is the community, my apologies if you don’t understand. Geo clearly doesn’t want to work on the jailbreak either, if you look at his twitter. Also, g3k0 will still work on the jailbreak with us, but is pursuing personal matters over s4ph; meaning his aid is limited.

  5. He/she*

  6. Come to my website and look at my jailbreak sollution! 100% real. Head on over to http://www.sn0wday.wordpress.com

  7. plz all go to my blog and read and comment if you plz

  8. oh shut the fuck up. pulling the hospital card is hilarious, the last gasp of an attention whore.

reply: Fuck you, I wouldn’t go to the lengths of pretending he’s in the hospital to trick people. GTFO. By the way, if we were seeking attention, wouldn’t we be publicizing? No, we’re not.
